Established in 2010. Accredited by the NMCN. Renamed in honour of a nation-builder.
ADCONS was established in 2010 following a Memorandum of Understanding under the administration of Malam (Dr.) Isah Yuguda. The State House of Assembly passed the enabling law, assented to on 30 January 2011, and operations began in September 2013 after the Governing Council was appointed.
The College obtained provisional NMCN accreditation in October 2019 and was renamed Aliko Dangote College of Nursing Sciences on 29 July 2020, signed into law by His Excellency Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.
